Flexible working
Much of our workforce works flexibly in some way. We will consider all kinds of flexible working including; part-time, job sharing, compressed hours, term-time only, career breaks or annualised hours. For some roles we will consider home-working and flexitime.
Health service discounts
Health and care discounts through the Blue Light Card is a national scheme that is able to offer discounts and services for many everyday household goods and activities. These include: Cars and motoring, fashion, health and wellbeing, vouchers gifts, insurance and holidays.
Pension scheme
We operate a competitive pension scheme. Anyone who starts working for us automatically becomes a member of the pension scheme, but membership is voluntary and you can opt not to join and leave the scheme at any time by completing a form.
Learning opportunities
We offer a wide range of learning to help our employees and HomeCare Bromley to succeed. We are committed to developing the skills of every employee.
We plan, design, co-ordinate and carry out training, from basic skills to leadership development, as well as providing a range of services to support learners.
Many of our courses are delivered through an e-Learning platform, although we deliver the Care Certificate, practical clinical-based training and some NVQ courses on a traditional classroom or work-based placement basis.
