As a domiciliary care assistant you would be providing a full range of personal care from assisting with washing and dressing in the morning to aiding with toileting during the day.

On a different day you might be assisting someone who is fully mobile but has dementia and requires assistance with cooking and cleaning.

There is a great deal of variety in domiciliary care work, and it’s perfect if you like changing situations that can challenge you.

As a supervising domiciliary care assistant (team leader) you will provide a full range of care and support to adults of all ages. Our team support people to remain safely at home, ensuring their personal care, nutrition/hydration and wellbeing needs are met. We support adults to be as independent and as autonomous as possible. As a leader, you will have skills and knowledge in a specific area such as skin integrity, falls prevention, or safeguarding, and be a good people leader – instilling confidence and trust. You will support the wider service through the supervision and monitoring of our care teams and contribute to the wider governance agenda.

Supervising care assistants bridge the gap between direct care and management. This role is deal for people that want to progress but would like to remain in a care-facing role.

– Min. 35 hours per week
– £11.44 per hour + team lead enhancements
– Overtime available
